First off, this book was amazing. €� The churchgoer wearing a parody shirt of a famous metal band. Lucifer's Hammer goes through the survival of many people after a comet hits Earth. I really enjoyed it and would recommend it. A 280kph XR1000 Harley powered sports bike. You even get a from space view of the impact! The guy from Lucifer's Hammer looks like Emilio Estevez in a wig. In crude summary, I feel as though the rural setting is idealized and the city/suburbs as sites for chaos in Lucifer's Hammer. As the Hamner-Brown comet approaches Earth, politicians, criminals, journalists, and scientists deal with the anticipation of its passing and possible impact.
